  I have not had a good experience with this medical practice. I had a physical last November, conducted by a mere child. She was not literally a child, of course, and young people can know what they are doing, but this very young PA did not treat me as anything more than a piece of flesh to practice on. In addition, one of the nurses is quite rude. My husband and I are infertile; when I mentioned to her that I am not using any birth control, she made a remark, later in the conversation, about "not wanting any little nasty accidents," referring to accidental pregnancy. 1) That was not any of her business; 2) it is an incredibly insensitive thing to say to anybody; infertility is not exactly a rare condition, so you cannot assume that there are no problems in that regard--and it was over-the-top insensitive to say to someone who has no children (I think I had already told her that we were unable to have kids). On top of that, I stopped on my way to work (in Pittsburgh, and I live in Washington) one morning to get blood drawn. I had to wait 45 minutes, just to get my blood drawn. And, last straw, I had a severe UTI around the beginning of the year, with fever, chills, slight nausea. I called the office early on January 2nd. They were closed. I left a message, stating my problem, and asking someone to call me back to give advice (because there purported to be a doctor on call). No one ever called me back. I went to MedExpress. The office closes at 4:00, which makes it very difficult to schedule something when one works. I am switching doctors. Enough is enough. The problem may be primarily with the office staff, but office staff is important, and it is up to doctors to hire good people.
