- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Emmert Dental is the most unethical business I have ever had to deal with in my life. They will bill outside of the amount set by the agreements that they have in place with insurance companies, they will charge you deductibles when your insurance does not require deductibles and they will charge you for unnecessary services. One dentist told me a my daughter's appointment that she had six cavities. When I returned for her follow up appointment to fill the cavities, the dentist for this appointment informed me that she did not have any cavities that he could see and that the other dentist made no file notes nor took x-rays. Despite clearly stating in writing to myself, my insurance company and the Better Business Bureau that my account is cleared, they continue to harass me for money. When I call to press them, they say my account is clear and they don't know why I am still receiving letters from their office. I implore anyone who is considering going to Emmert to do further research as this office has a history of of bad billing and unethical practices.July 21, 2017by Courtney Ballas
