  The Care given to my cat Lulu was amazing. My cat was admitted at midnight on a Thursday and released on a Monday afternoon. Dr Parks in emergency showed great compassion for me and my cat and at that very moment I knew my cat was in the very best pet hospital. I am new to Pittsburgh so I had no idea where to go so I randomly selected Camp Horne. The hospital is the largest I’ve ever seen. They have every specialist possible to review your pets condition and an amazing collaboration takes place with the specialists to make sure your pet gets the best treatment. Dr Genero from internal medicine was my main contact who spent time speaking to me about my cat and her condition. She was an amazing doctor who really cares about animals. Dr Peterson was the main specialist of internal medicine making sure my cat was under the best care. Each night I left the hospital knowing my cat would be loved and provided the best treatment. These amazing doctors are honest and only care about your pet getting well nothing else matters to them. They could have performed surgery on my cat but told me the surgery was too risky and not the best course of action. My experience with some vets is that they are interested in the revenues generated and not the best course of action for my animals. This is not the case at Camp Horne. I recommend this pet hospital for the best care of your loved pet. The techs are also amazing and I wanted to give a thumbs up to Stephanie who took extra time nursing my cat back to health and showing her love. My cat loved her! The only issue I had was the wait time when I visited. I made sure I came for visits during the window made available but it took a longer than I think it should to get to see your pet. One night I waited 2 hours and most times close to an hour to see my cat. I think this area needs a solution as many owners were frustrated including myself. Instead of an open door policy for all they should have someone scheduling visits so the person assisting techs is prepared. It seems chaotic in this arena however everything else is great. Thank you Dr Peterson and Dr Genero for the care you provided my cat and for the compassion you showed to both of us. Thank you Dr Parks for supporting me in making a good decision to admit her so she would recover.
